FlavorDash is a personal browser dashboard and theme customizer for Flavortown Hack Club. It sits in your browser toolbar and gives you quick access to your stats, project status, the store inventory, and lets you customize the website's look.

- Download this repository or the release zip.
- Extract the folder to your computer.
- Open Chrome/Brave/Edge.
- Go to
chrome://extensions. - Enable Developer Mode (Top right corner).
- Click Load Unpacked.
- Select the
FlavorDashfolder.
FlavorDash connects to your personal Flavortown account. You need to provide your API Key to fetch your stats.
- Click the FlavorDash Icon in your toolbar.
- It will open the Setup tab.
- Click the link to the Flavortown Dashboard and open settings.
- Generate/Copy your API Key (starts with
ft_sk_). - Paste the Key into the extension settings.
- Enter your User ID (e.g.,
1234).- Tip: You can find this in your profile URL:

- Click Save Configuration.
- Open the extension and go to the 🎨 Themes tab.
- Click on any emoji (e.g., 🔥 Fire, ✨ Stars, 💸 Cash).
- Open (or reload) flavortown.hackclub.com.
- The falling snow effect will now be replaced by your selected emoji!
- 401 Unauthorized: Your API Key is incorrect. Go to Settings and check it.
- 429 Rate Limit: You are clicking too fast! The Flavortown API only allows 5 requests per minute. The extension will automatically wait if this happens.
- Projects loading slowly? This is intentional. The extension adds a 3-second delay between project fetches to protect your account from being rate-limited.
- Theme not changing? Make sure you refresh the Flavortown tab after selecting a new theme.
