Hi @adrinjalali sorry for the (long) delay in my answer. @jj-jr I am actually not aware what's the stage of the Boston removal story anymore. @adrinjalali probably knows better? |

I think there's still a few things to do before we can remove this. The function itself still doesn't raise a warning and the discussion around that has been quite long. I'm gonna close this PR since we'll need to get back to it at a later point. |
