I'm intentionally making this on a branch in the main project repo and not from my fork so that the CI will run to validate the anaconda-client changes.


To keen eye reviewers who read the release notes, I'm not using the new more explicit CLI API given it is broken: anaconda/anaconda-client#735

Looks good to me. I was a bit confused by the rename of [project] to [workspace] but looking at the pixi docs it seems OK, too.

Yeah, workspace is the new standard. Sorry, I didn't mention it as it is effectively just a rename for our purposes.

No worries. It's just that their documentation is a bit confusing as they call workspace an alias.

Yeah. This renaming happened in v0.43.0.

Renaming [project] to [workspace]

I haven't followed development closely enough to know why this change happened (c.f. prefix-dev/pixi#3277), but I think they're just trying to reframe how people think about the scope of Pixi use.
