Summary

  • prepare sourcemaps before resolving sourcemapFileNames [hash], so every content-changing map option contributes to the hash
  • preserve generated placeholder metadata, validate function patterns when sourcemaps are disabled, and pass the default final chunk map path to sourcemap callbacks
  • add regression coverage for final map content, literal placeholder-shaped names, callback paths, and disabled sourcemaps

Follow-up to #9271.

Test Plan

  • just test-node
  • just lint-node
  • cargo clippy -p rolldown -p rolldown_common --lib --features experimental -- --deny warnings

Pull request overview

This PR refines how output.sourcemapFileNames resolves its [hash] placeholder by hashing prepared sourcemap JSON (after options like sourcemapExcludeSources, sourcemapIgnoreList, and sourcemapPathTransform are applied). It also adds fixture-based regression coverage to ensure correct hashing behavior, callback invocation semantics, and edge cases around placeholder-like literals.

Changes:

  • Split sourcemap processing into a “prepare” step and an “emit” step, and compute [hash] from the prepared sourcemap JSON before final filename resolution.
  • Adjust chunk preliminary sourcemap filename generation to still validate/call sourcemapFileNames patterns even when sourcemaps are disabled, while not reserving names when no map is produced.
  • Add regression fixtures covering final-map hashing differences, literal placeholder-like strings, callback path arguments, and behavior when sourcemaps are disabled.

  • When sourcemapBaseUrl is not set, the //# sourceMappingURL= comment is built using Path::new(map_filename).file_name(), which drops any directory components. With output.sourcemapFileNames allowing subdirectories (e.g. maps/[name].map), the emitted map asset can live outside the chunk directory, and stripping the directory makes the sourceMappingURL point to a non-existent file.

## Summary

An invalid `output.sourcemapFileNames` pattern reported its diagnostic against the internal `sourcemap_filename` identifier, which is not a real option name:

```
[INVALID_OPTION] Invalid pattern "/absolute.map" for "sourcemap_filename", patterns can be neither absolute nor relative paths.
```

`generate_preliminary_sourcemap_filename` now passes the public camelCase `sourcemapFileNames` to `FilenameTemplate`, matching every other filename-template site (`entryFileNames`, `chunkFileNames`), so the error reads `for "sourcemapFileNames"`.

## Test Plan

- New fixture `output/sourcemap-filenames/invalid-pattern-diagnostic` asserts the diagnostic names `sourcemapFileNames` (and not the snake_case leak). Verified **RED** on `main`, **GREEN** on this branch.

Follow-up to #9271 / #10178.
