In PR #144 the task of writing pytests for E2 was started. This task is however not finished. After the next MVS release, following should be done:

• Write docstrings for E2 (@ursulaelmir)
• Write test function names for test_E2*.py (@smartie2076)
• Write pytests according to test function names (@ursulaelmir)
