@devnexen any chance this or with minor adjustments can be used for the other BSD variants (FreeBSD, and maybe MacOS)?
I see you're making PRs for these, so i suppose you're working with them and able to test.

I see you're making PRs for these, so i suppose you're working with them and able to test.

That would require a lot of ifdef-eries what I tried to avoid.
