@htmgarcia Here is how I reproduced this behavior:

create a default advanced table block with empty rows
save post
refresh post
as soon as the block loads, add content to a cell - this is not registered in the updateCellContent callback here
update another cell - this is registered
save post (only the second cell update is saved)
as soon as the block loads, add content to another cell - this is not registered in the updateCellContent callback
update another cell - this is registered
save post (only the second cell update is saved)
as soon as the block loads, focus on a cell that already has content and then add content to another cell - this is registered
refresh the post
as soon as the block loads, focus on a cell that already has content and add content to same cell - this is registered

So it looks like the first content update in an empty cell is not registered because of this if block. I'll continue to explore but just wanted to give you an interim update.

I'm curious about why you are using a timeout. Even if I reduce the timeout value to 500, it doesn't work.
