A plugin to block all requests from Russia to any WordPress site and display a pro-Ukraine message instead 🇺🇦
The Embargoed plugin checks the IP of visitors coming to your site for their origin. If it detects a Russian IP, instead of continuing as normal it will block the visit and display a pro-Ukrainian message.
The message looks as follows:
The plugin has been submitted to the official WordPress Plugin Directory and is currently under review.
You can manually install the plugin using the following steps:
- Download the latest .zip of the plugin
- Copy the contents of the file into a
/wp-content/pluginsfolder - Activate the "Embargoed" plugin in your admin dashboard or using WP CLI
The plugin will start working immediately and block all visitors from Russia.
