I know I asked this before, but can you explain again why node.title !== null check needed?

For an inline link, the link destination is optional (spec), so an empty URL with no title may be printed as either [text]() or [text](<>); we choose the former to avoid reformatting previously formatted code.
An empty URL with a title must be printed as [text](<> "title"), because otherwise the title would be parsed as the destination.
L343 prints a link reference definition. For a link reference definition, the link destination is not optional (spec), so an empty URL must be printed as [def]: <> whether or not there’s a title.

Instead of remove <> in [link](<>), let's add <> for [link](). So the logic here can be simpler, also easier for users to add title.

Are you fine with changing
Prettier is a formatter; the only reason we make releases is that we want a format change; it's the nature of this software, we change the format in every release. That's why we mentioned in docs and blog posts everywhere to ask you to pin the verison of Prettier. |
