Getting  Error: Request failed with status code 400 for M365 command  m365 spo app install for version 5.2.0

We are running below command for installing app in sharepoint site:
 **m365 spo app install** --id <app ID> --siteUrl <site url> --scope sitecollection

Getting error :
 Error: **Request failed with status code 400**

Version of @pnp/cli-microsoft365 : **5.2.0**
