We have references in the GitHub Wiki as well as some content in our docs; so suggestion: Improve our docs with a central location that contains all the steps for starting contributors to start.

Once we have the docs updated we should totally create a bunch of video's as well, but let us get started with a little more guidance on getting started by bringing all things together.
