Following the discussion of #2660 it would be nice to have a sample script showing how to perform operations against a service even if a command is not yet present in the CLI.

@sprider already created a script that shows how this can be achieved by downloading attachments from SharePoint Online.

Lets use this sample and provide a little bit more context to explain what possible scenarios might look like.
