Basically, the previous logic was such that any path with a / would remain un-modified, which our glob library didn't handle well. ./foo.js as a glob doesn't really work. This changes things to strip the ./ and then use the remaining string as the glob.

I am unsure about any possible memory usage/perf downside this has. This is a hot path, but I don't think the extra work here is a big deal since it only hits once when the config file is evaluated initially? 🤷‍♂️

I'm also not sure if this will need any special considerations for the JS configs, or if the JS configs use this same logic, I haven't been following the code changes for that feature.
