Describe the bug

I just realized that whenever a user is typing their password when logging in to their client - it will show as clear text, not cryptic. When changing the focus to a different window and going back to the client - it will show the encryption. See video attached.

Expected behavior

Password should be cryptic all the time.

1. login window of the Desktop client on mac
2. Enter password
