What Problem This Solves

The existing CHANGELOG.md section for v2026.6.10 needs to be replaced with the approved reader-facing release story. Without this update, the public changelog does not reflect the reviewed release narrative or its complete inline coverage of the shipped user-facing changes.

Why This Change Was Made

This PR replaces only the v2026.6.10 changelog section with the approved public story from the release-notes workflow. It keeps all PR, issue, and verified contributor coverage represented inline and preserves the public changelog boundary by excluding audit-only release material.

The semantic comparison warnings are review context, not changes to this scope. The release-verification block is intentionally separate remote release metadata, and the automatic fast-mode section is the chosen detailed public presentation for this approved iteration.

User Impact

OpenClaw users and readers can find the approved v2026.6.10 release story in the public changelog, including the user-visible outcomes, source references, and contributor attribution for the covered work. The changelog continues to present public release information rather than maintainer-only accounting or remote release verification details.

Evidence

  • publication-comparison.json reports approved-with-warnings, confirms coverage of all 12 PRs, six related issues, and every verified contributor inline, and finds no material contradiction.
  • machine-evaluation.json reports passed, including complete accounting for 291 release changes, 12 PRs, and 279 direct commits, with all listed structural validators passing.
  • llm-evaluation.json reports approved; all quality gates are true and the findings list is empty.
  • human-review.json records reviewDecision: approved and states that the iteration is approved for draft PR publication.

Codex review: needs maintainer review before merge. Reviewed June 26, 2026, 2:20 PM ET / 18:20 UTC.

Summary
This PR replaces the 2026.6.10 section of CHANGELOG.md with a more detailed reader-facing release story and inline PR, issue, and commit attribution.

PR surface: Docs +50. Total +50 across 1 file.

Reproducibility: not applicable. this is a docs-only changelog PR, not a reported runtime bug. I verified the diff, current main section, and release body instead of reproducing product behavior.

Review metrics: none identified.

Merge readiness
Overall: 🐚 platinum hermit
Proof: 🌊 off-meta tidepool
Patch quality: 🐚 platinum hermit
Result: ready for maintainer review.

Overall follows the weaker of proof and patch quality, so missing proof can cap an otherwise strong patch.

Rank-up moves:

  • none.

Next step before merge

  • Protected maintainer draft with no narrow automated defect; leave it in the normal maintainer release-doc workflow.

Security
Cleared: Docs-only CHANGELOG.md changes do not alter code execution, dependencies, secrets, workflows, or package resolution.

Review details

Best possible solution:

Merge this PR after maintainer release-note approval, keeping the change scoped to CHANGELOG.md.

Do we have a high-confidence way to reproduce the issue?

Not applicable: this is a docs-only changelog PR, not a reported runtime bug. I verified the diff, current main section, and release body instead of reproducing product behavior.

Is this the best way to solve the issue?

Yes: replacing only the release section is the narrowest maintainable path for approved release-story wording. It avoids code, config, dependency, and release-verification metadata changes.

AGENTS.md: found and applied where relevant.

Codex review notes: model internal, reasoning high; reviewed against 1cd6f81a46ae.

Label changes

Label changes:

  • add P3: This is a low-risk docs-only release changelog update with no runtime behavior, config, or compatibility change.
  • add rating: 🐚 platinum hermit: Overall readiness is 🐚 platinum hermit; proof is 🌊 off-meta tidepool and patch quality is 🐚 platinum hermit.
  • add status: 👀 ready for maintainer look: ClawSweeper has no concrete contributor-facing blocker left for this PR. Not applicable: This is a maintainer docs-only PR, so the external real behavior proof gate does not apply.

What I checked:

  • Proposed changelog scope: The PR head changes only the 2026.6.10 changelog section and adds the expanded release story beginning at the version heading. (CHANGELOG.md:11, f9d3db1ad77a)
  • Current main differs: Current main still has the shorter v2026.6.10 highlights, changes, fixes, and complete contribution record section, so the PR is not already implemented on main. (CHANGELOG.md:11, 1cd6f81a46ae)
  • Release provenance checked: The GitHub release v2026.6.10 was published on 2026-06-24 and its release body still matches the shorter release notes plus a remote release verification block; the PR body explains that verification metadata is intentionally excluded from the changelog. (aa69b12d0086)
  • Changelog policy applied: Root policy says CHANGELOG.md is release-only and release generation owns it, which makes this maintainer release-note PR an appropriate release-doc workflow item rather than cleanup-close material. (AGENTS.md:231, 1cd6f81a46ae)
  • Patch sanity: The PR patch applies cleanly with whitespace checking and touches no code, dependency, workflow, or generated artifact surface. (CHANGELOG.md:11, f9d3db1ad77a)

Likely related people:

  • vincentkoc: The v2026.6.10 release changelog section was introduced by the release commit aa69b12d0086b631b139c1435c9621a5783e3a40, authored by Vincent Koc, and git blame on the tagged release points the section to that commit. (role: release changelog author; confidence: high; commits: aa69b12d0086; files: CHANGELOG.md)
  • obviyus: Current main blame for the existing v2026.6.10 section points to 8bc069f76f621d59a00bdd1999d2d36ffa797d0a, and GitHub maps that commit to a recently merged PR with Ayaan Zaidi as merger. (role: recent area contributor; confidence: medium; commits: 8bc069f76f62; files: CHANGELOG.md)
What the crustacean ranks mean
  • 🦀 challenger crab: rare, exceptional readiness with strong proof, clean implementation, and convincing validation.
  • 🦞 diamond lobster: very strong readiness with only minor maintainer review expected.
  • 🐚 platinum hermit: good normal PR, likely mergeable with ordinary maintainer review.
  • 🦐 gold shrimp: useful signal, but proof or patch confidence is still limited.
  • 🦪 silver shellfish: thin signal; proof, validation, or implementation needs work.
  • 🧂 unranked krab: not merge-ready because proof is missing/unusable or there are serious correctness or safety concerns.
  • 🌊 off-meta tidepool: rating does not apply to this item.

Shiny media proof means a screenshot, video, or linked artifact directly shows the changed behavior. Runtime, network, CSP, and security claims still need visible diagnostics.

How this review workflow works
  • ClawSweeper keeps one durable marker-backed review comment per issue or PR.
  • Re-runs edit this comment so the latest verdict, findings, and automation markers stay together instead of adding duplicate bot comments.
  • A fresh review can be triggered by eligible @clawsweeper re-review comments, exact-item GitHub events, scheduled/background review runs, or manual workflow dispatch.
  • PR/issue authors and users with repository write access can comment @clawsweeper re-review or @clawsweeper re-run on an open PR or issue to request a fresh review only.
  • Maintainers can also comment @clawsweeper review to request a fresh review only.
  • Fresh-review commands do not start repair, autofix, rebase, CI repair, or automerge.
  • Maintainer-only repair and merge flows require explicit commands such as @clawsweeper autofix, @clawsweeper automerge, @clawsweeper fix ci, or @clawsweeper address review.
  • Maintainers can comment @clawsweeper explain to ask for more context, or @clawsweeper stop to stop active automation.
