Improve iOS Privacy notification controls #99201

Description

@sahilsatralkar

Summary

Move iOS notification controls into Settings > Privacy as a visible toggle and simplify the supporting copy.

Problem to solve

The iOS app exposed Notifications as a separate Settings destination with a large action button and repeated explanatory text. This made the permission/preference relationship feel heavier than the surrounding Privacy controls and split related privacy/access controls across separate screens.

When notification permission was denied, trying to enable notifications also needed to take users directly to OpenClaw's app settings instead of leaving them at the top-level iOS Settings screen.

Proposed solution

  • Show Notifications as the top card in Settings > Privacy.
  • Replace the large Notifications action button with a visible toggle.
  • Treat iOS notification permission as the system authority and use the toggle for OpenClaw's app-level notification-serving preference.
  • Keep the notification detail copy concise and stable.
  • Keep relay availability copy visible in the same grouped card.
  • Open OpenClaw's app settings when the user needs to manage denied system notification permission.

Impact

Affected: iPhone and iPad users configuring OpenClaw notification and privacy controls.

Severity: Low to medium UX issue.

Consequence: Users get a clearer, more native Settings experience, with notification controls grouped beside other privacy/access controls and a more direct path to iOS app settings when system permission has been denied.

Evidence/examples

After-state simulator screenshots were captured for iPhone and iPad Privacy screens and will be included in the linked PR evidence.
