Summary

Add Cohere's current Command A+, Command A Reasoning, and Command A Vision models to the direct provider.

Problem to solve

OpenClaw's built-in Cohere catalog currently exposes Command A from March 2025 and North Mini Code, but omits Cohere's newer Command models. Users must hand-author provider model definitions, lose accurate capability metadata, and cannot select the current flagship during onboarding.

Proposed solution

Add the three current model IDs with their documented context, output, modality, reasoning, and tool-use contracts. Make Command A+ the onboarding default, include current tool-capable Cohere models in modern live sweeps, and update provider/live-testing documentation.

Alternatives considered

Relying on custom user catalog entries duplicates provider-owned metadata and cannot safely express the model-specific reasoning and tool-use restrictions as a maintained default.

Impact

Affected: users of the direct Cohere provider.

Severity: medium; current Cohere models require manual configuration.

Frequency: every new Cohere setup or model switch.

Consequence: stale defaults, extra configuration, and incorrect capability assumptions.
