Some feedback about the navbar:
- Multiple codex profiles result in multiple buttons displayed horizontally, this clutters the navbar, specially if there are more than 2 profiles. Best to stick with dropdown
- Timezone should be moved to the settings page, I don't expect people to switch timezones that often that it becomes a good idea to have a fast switch button on the navbar
- Same thing for the password, already supported in the settings page
- There are 3 buttons for layout options, I don't notice a big difference on my MacBook or my iPhone, not sure if it's useful for other layouts but maybe move it to the settings as well?
These 4 alone would greatly simplify the navbar.
Other points about UI/UX in general:
- "Dashboard - Track your Codex API quota usage in real time." this doesn't provide anything useful but takes vertical space. I notice patterns like this a lot with UIs built by Codex, Claude is usually much better at these things
- I don't remember the exact wording now but when usage is above the desired pace, the wording is opposite of what it should be (eg. it says we are x% in deficit instead of x% in excess, or something similar)
Other misc:
- SMTP test always fails for me with wrong credentials but I have emails working fine (I received many times)
- Also never got push notifications to work. No idea how it works. I'm using Safari on macOS, my app is deployed on a NAS with Traefik as reverse proxy and my own domain (onwatch.mydomain.com), not sure if it helps in any way, as I believe I saw somewhere that it requires HTTPS which I'm using
- Would be nice to have even more control about notifications. For example, I'm often restricted about weekly limits but not by 5-hour limit. I want notifications of resets for the weekly (specially because of random resets by Codex team) but I don't want to be notified every 5 hours by that limit reset
