The range check doesn't look right, isn't -(1 lsl 7), (1 lsl 7) - 1 the valid range? I'd suggest using hexadecimal literals (same for Int16).

I've fixed that, thanks, but I think the existing form is ok. I fixed another bug too.

This patch adds basic
Int8andInt16modules to theNumbersmodule, which is internal to the compiler. These are needed by the forthcoming DWARF library.
