Ah, had missed that gen[3] already being the linking part effectively. Nice!
(Didn't double check that all of these need the linking, but removes it from mtrand.c and it seems right to me.)
Thanks Ralf, just waiting for CI. @allsey87 if you wish, you may want to try with this changes applied.
