Two patches for distutils tickets. About the Interix one, the ticket submitter sees this issue on several different systems (see ticket). Since this does not anything besides Interix users and it's very likely correct, I would like to apply this.
The PathScale patch has been tested to work by the submitter and looks correct to me. So it makes sense to apply it, if there's some minor issue with other versions of the PathScale compiler suite this is easily fixed afterwards.
