Unfortunately, there are very often problems with the Nextcloud download server. It would be nice if you could simply copy a copy of the current ZIP file, e.g. nextcloud-31.0.1.zip, into the /data/updater-***/downloads folder. The webupdater and updater.phar would recognise this and use it directly if the name is correct. Integrity tests ensure that there is no increased risk. The advantage is that the same file does not have to be downloaded again and again and also can copy manually from another source. In the event of an error, e.g. data/downloads/nextcloud-31.0.1.zip may have to be deleted manually in the same way as .step. I think this is reasonable.
