msysgit 1.9.4 breaks on long pathnames #227
Description
I made an example repo to illustrate this issue.

Cloning/checkout fails with the latest 1.9.4 PortableGit environment.
fatal: cannot create directory at 'node_modules/gulp/node_modules/vinyl-fs/node_modules/glob-stream/node_modules/glob2base/node_modules/lodash.findindex/node_modules/lodash.createcallback/node_modules/lodash.basecreatecallback/node_modules': Filename too long
The same action succeeds in cygwin git 1.79.
