Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Chrome browser (version 88+)
• Node.js (version 16+)
• Google Gemini API Key
• ElevenLabs API Key

Installation

1. Clone and build the extension:

   git clone https://github.com/mrsinani/cl1ppy
   cd cl1ppy
   npm install
   npm run build

2. Install in Chrome:

   • Open chrome://extensions/ in your browser
   • Enable "Developer mode" (toggle in top right)
   • Click "Load unpacked"
   • Select the dist/ folder from the cloned repository

3. Configure API keys:

   • Click the Cl1ppy extension icon in your browser toolbar
   • Navigate to the "API Keys" tab
   • Enter your Google Gemini and ElevenLabs API keys
   • Save and enjoy!

• Voice Synthesis - ElevenLabs gives Cl1ppy multiple voice personalities
• Multiple Moods - Choose from Funny, Encouraging, Productivity-focused, or Demotivating personalities
• Todo List Management - Built-in task tracking with Cl1ppy's commentary
• Periodic Check-ins - Configurable analysis frequency (1-30 minutes)

Configuration

Access settings by clicking the Cl1ppy extension icon:

• Enable/Disable - Turn Cl1ppy on or off
• Mood Selection - Choose your preferred personality
  • 😄 Funny (witty and sarcastic)
  • 😊 Encouraging (positive and supportive)
  • 💼 Productivity (focused and practical)
  • 😐 Demotivating (existentially aware)
• Analysis Frequency - Set how often Cl1ppy checks in
• Todo List - Add and manage tasks with personality-appropriate commentary

Privacy

Cl1ppy respects your privacy:

• ✅ No data collection - We don't collect any personal information
• ✅ Local storage only - All settings stored in your browser
• ✅ Your API keys - You control your own API keys
• ✅ No tracking - No analytics or telemetry
• ✅ Open source - Verify our code yourself
