The application is divided between:

• the non-ui stumbler service, and
• the client, which produces the Mozilla Stumbler app

The stumbler service was used in Firefox for Android (a.k.a. Fennec) up to version 68. This was not included in version 79 and later (a.k.a. Fenix).
