As decided today, I will adjust the wording in the documentation to drop the focus on implementation, and ensure that alternative ways of handling place-holder components (by e.g. keeping them as a system) are still valid. |

I suggest "explicitly omitted" --> "omitted", because I think that all omissions are implicit by definitions.
