This is a fix for #3569. The
round()implementation we used to have to work around MSVC's lack ofround()seems no longer necessary: all MSVC versions back to VS2015 haveround()available, and as far as I know mlpack can't be compiled with any MSVC compiler earlier than that. So, it should be safe to just plain remove. The CI infrastructure will confirm whether my hunch is correct... :)
