Terminal intermittently shows white area that seems like failed to load something. #285452

I am working with Copilot extensin inside VS code. Copilot makes use of terminal/bash to run commands for the project.
I am also using dark mode theme on VS code.
In the terminal area, I intermittently see white area that feels like it failed to load something. Sometimes the area fills the entire console.
The reporoduction steps are unknown, as this randomly comes and goes away after a while (as copilot keeps using the terminal running different commands)
