Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes
- VS Code Version: 1.78.0-insider (system setup) 3ad5774
- OS Version: Windows_NT x64 10.0.22621 (Windows 11 Pro 22H2)
Steps to Reproduce:
- Navigate to VSCode Insiders installation folder. (ie.
C:\Program Files\Microsoft VS Code Insiders) - Right-click
Code - Insiders.exeand chooseShow more optionsthen selectProperties. - Click on and select the
Compatibilitytab. - Check the
Run this program as an Administratorcheckbox. - Click
OKto save the new properties. - Navigate to a source folder you wish to open.
- Right-click on the folder and choose
Open with Code Insiders
At this point, nothing will happen. When the 'Run this program as an Administrator` checkbox is enabled on Windows 11, this context menu option breaks entirely and no longer works.
