- Create an log output channel that prints
infomessages - Now open the output UI

The output channel appears blank if you have not lowered the editor log level
In this case, can we make it more clear what the current log level is and help the user change it. Chrome dev tools for example has a drop down for changing the log level and also shows you X hidden to indicate that other messages exist but are not being shown:
