Description
This PR fixes three issues:
Recursive npm path filters — The
pull_request.pathsfilter used root-only patterns (package.json,package-lock.json), so dependency review never triggered for nested npm projects likedocs/docusaurus/package.json. Added**/prefixes to align with the existing Python convention.Sparse-checkout cone mode compatibility — The
gh-awcompiler hardcodessparse-checkout-cone-mode: true, which rejects file-level glob patterns like**/requirements.txt. Replaced individual file globs in thecheckout.sparse-checkoutsection with.github/skills/to cover all Python dependency files without needing per-skill directory entries. Theon.pull_request.pathstriggers retain their**globs since GitHub Actions path filters support glob syntax natively.Broken relative links in issue-triage agent —
issue-triage.agent.mdused../../instructions/which resolves outside.github/. Corrected to../instructions/so the links resolve to.github/instructions/as intended.Related Issue(s)

Additional Notes
The sparse-checkout cone mode incompatibility was causing the
Dependabot PR Review / agentjob to fail at the "Checkout repository" step withfatal: specify directories rather than patterns. This fix uses.github/skills/as a single directory entry, which is future-proof — new skills are automatically included without workflow changes.Note: also this PR surfaced an existing bug:
Pester CI failure: Get-DiffOutput test false-negative
Bug: The 'Returns array of diff lines' test in
generate.Tests.ps1callsGet-DiffOutput -ComparisonRef 'HEAD~1'against the real repo and asserts the result is non-empty. In CI, GitHub creates a merge commit at refs/pull/*/merge. Because.gitattributesdefinesmerge=oursfor*.lock.ymlfiles, the merge commit inherits main's version of those files, collapsing the diff to zero. When the PR's substantive changes are primarily in lock files, git diff HEAD~1 returns empty, and the test fails with Expected a value, but got $null or empty.Fix (commit 6113a35): The test now mocks git to return a deterministic 6-line diff, verifying the function correctly returns and counts the output. A new 'Executes without error against real repo' test covers real-git integration with Should -Not -Throw, which is resilient to empty diffs. This prevents false failures on any PR where merge=ours attributes suppress the visible diff.
