Very slow and unresponsive UI?

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Not sure if it is only affecting me but every time I launch this app I find it incredibly slow to switch between conversations or expand subagents & tool calls.

Expected behavior
Faster UI/UX or some visual feedback

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: macOS Tahoe 26.3.1
• Version: this has persisted across versions but currently 0.4.7

Understand if this is just the way it is but if unknown I wanted to share it.
