This should be the fully functional release of Mastodon, where "fully functional" is of course a blurry concept, but I think could be described as "usable" by a normal, non-technical person. That means, ability to perform all functions via a user interface as opposed to only via API, and full interoperability with GNU Social in the functions chosen to be included in the release.
