Steps to reproduce the problem

1.At v4.4, I input #theregi invokes a candidate 'TheRegister' and after selection the word, #theregi changes to 'TheRegister. At v4.5, the same input invokes the same candidate but changed word is 'theregister'.
2.At v4.5, sometime hash input take into two parts like #TheHackernews leading to #TheHackernews.

Expect the same behavior as v4.4.

Actual behaviour

Hash tag input assistance does not work.

Detailed description

Hash tag input assistant at v4.5 is different from at 4.4.
