opencontainers/runc#4968 says that the "proper" fix for the apparmor/lxc/runc interaction issue must be implemented by LXC. Do you agree?

If so: I had a look at the issue tracker, lxc-devel mailing list, official repo and active forks but could not see anything going on in this regard. What is the best place I can check for updates? Can I help test candidate fixes?
