The following required functionality is completed:
- User sees app icon in home screen and styled launch screen.
- User can log in using username and password.
- User can play as guest.
- User can only move pieces when its their turn.
- User can only move pieces to valid locations.
- Pieces rise above the board when selected.
- User can use gesture recognition to move select and move pieces
- Application displays what turns for both players.
The following features are potential future improvements:
- User can sign in using third party authentication like Google and Apple.
- User can create profile.
- Application has cybersecurity measures to ensure privacy of player details.
- Application supports player playing against AI
- Users can change the settings of the application to better suite their needs.
- Users can play against each other online irrespective of geographical location.
