Shifts the behavior of
try/catchresponsibility to allow for customization on the behavior of failing to decode a value. The current behavior was added in #5 where it seemed they wanted to error, but the commit decided to ignore.Opening this for feedback since it doesn't seem helpful for users to return a value that wouldn't be valid.
