Dropping support for Python versions that are out of their life cycle.

That means:

• Python 2.x
• Python <= 3.6

The code doesn't necessarily need to be changed and it may still work with older versions, but documentation that states what is and is not supported should reflect that only 3.7 and above is supported going forward.
