Very nice addition @haraldh - concept ACK

Long term we want to drop openssl and move over to using https://github.com/bitcoin/secp256k1

In the short term, this approach seems reasonable for Fedora/RHEL distros.

Closing this -- we are moving in the direction of removing openssl completely, and instead using libsecp256k1.
