Sometimes emails do not reach recipients for whatever reason. When this happens, event managers need to copy the recipient+subject+body of an email from the logs and send the email from an email client. It would be useful if it was possible to trigger the resending of an email from the event logs directly.
Describe the solution you'd like
Add a Resend button on the event log entries related to sent emails. This solution is limited to emails that don't contain attachments. Attachments are not stored in the system and they would need to be regenerated and that would be extremely tricky.
For proposed solution to be viable, the log entry data should have enough information to determine if the sent email contained attachments or not. This is not currently the case and Indico should start including file name of attachments in log entry data.
