In some cases (absence of a GNSS receiver or spoofing), it is impossible to find out the altitude in telemetry. The crsf protocol has a telemetry packet 0x09 for baro altitude, which can also include its rate of change (vario).
I suggest adding this package, and if barometer is used, do not use the vario packet, since the transmission of one packet is faster than two.
