These problems started when I switched to hyprland. I have continued to use keymapper as my keyboard Daemon.

Periodically, Keymapper stops processing my key presses. In order to fix this I need to kill keymapper and then restart keymapperd, and then restart keymapper.

In journald I found this error
Jan 14 16:59:28 bruce-nuc11pahi7 keymapper[820222]: Error reading events from display: Broken pipe

The problem usually occurs after I make a change to my config file or use the system tray icon.
