Going to go ahead and merge this. We're touching the default options in other PRs. It's easy to get it wrong but normally hvPlot warns when unexpected options are passed so I'd like this to be enabled not to introduce bugs. |

With one small code change in the explorer, avoiding passing
optsto the converter asoptsis not a kwarg the converter knows about.
