LGTM, but we should consider getting rid of the places in the doc where we are just updating version numbers over and over (and we keep forgetting).
I think the "Status" column doesn't provide much value to the users since the time we shipped GA. Let's remove it completely?

@jtattermusch Sounds good. Let's leave it updated on the 1.8.x branch; I will not remove this column entirely in my upmerge commit to master. |
