Feature Description

The copy of enhanced conversions notifications for Analytics in the Site Kit dashboard and Analytics settings should be updated to match the Figma designs.

Acceptance criteria

• The description of the enhanced conversions notifications for Analytics in the Site Kit dashboard and Analytics settings should be updated to the following: "Site Kit now supports user-provided data collection, a feature which helps you get a more complete and reliable count of your sales and leads from your website, even when people switch devices. To activate, turn on the setting for collecting user data in your Analytics account. If you’ve already enabled this, no further action is required."
• The title, learn more link, CTA, and dismiss buttons should remain the same.
• The Figma design should be used as the source of truth during implementation.

Implementation Brief

• Apply the abovementioned copy updates to the following notifications:
  • assets/js/modules/analytics-4/components/notifications/EnhancedConversionsNotification.js
  • assets/js/modules/analytics-4/components/settings/EnhancedConversionsSettingsNotice.js

Test Coverage

• Update any necessary tests and VRT references.

QA Brief

• Set up Site Kit.
• Turn on the gtagUserData feature flag in the tester plugin.
• Ensure Analytics is connected and is eligible to show the notification (not yet dismissed, not yet enabled).
• Verify the dashboard notification (EnhancedConversionsNotification) displays the updated description according to the Figma designs.
• Verify the Analytics settings notice (EnhancedConversionsSettingsNotice) displays the updated description according to the Figma designs.
