One of the most useful core helpers is the ability to drag documents into other places — into a text field to auto-generate a link, into an actor sheet to embed an item, etc. Currently this is only possible if you can see and grab a representation of that document, in something like the sidebar. In many cases, you'll have the document's sheet open, but no grabbable entity at hand.

Suggest providing a draggable proxy for all documents, provided by the core framework for document sheets. Could perhaps just use the existing document-id-link icon that's in the window header — left-click to copy ID, right-click to copy UUID, drag to drag this document by proxy.
