In v13/5.2.5, you could hit the "Edit Feather" in item description and edit the descriptions, dispite the document itself being in play mode.

In v14/5.3.0, this is no longer possible (which is fine), but the Feather icon is still there, suggesting that you can. You can also still click it and get the editor, just actually can't edit.
