...meaning tree shaking icons doesn't work? Or causes crashes?

It causes crashes. This issue will be gone when we do the monorepo, because then we'd be building everything from sources and so everything should sync up.

These crashes are indeed annoying (and to me, seemingly random)

Fix the
--aboption in the benchmark harness:--local-engine-hostoptional. The web engine doesn't need it, so it doesn't build it. But the tool crashes by failing to find it.--abruns against local engine build, whose Dart kernel version is out of sync with the framework, which crashes the const finder.
