Looks OK.
In the longer term I think that the tasks should be in separate classes (or files), since flutter.groovy is getting pretty cluttered.
Also Gradle has TestKit for writing tests of plugins, I think we could research that and see if it can bring us any benefit. But it's just some loud thinking.
