- causing severe production issues e.g. malfunctions or data loss
- blocking next binary release

Steps to reproduce

This is the same issue as #126878. So far, we've reproduced it on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 12 mini, not reproduced on iPhone 13 and SE.
- Background or kill the app
- Trigger a notification to be sent to the app
- Reopen the app from the notification
Expected results
Images are displayed as usual.
Actual results
Images are all replaced with a pink fill.
